“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
– George Eliot
What do Samuel L. Jackson, Vera Wang and the late Colonel Sanders have in common? They are just a few famous people who have realized their passions later in life.
For Samuel L, it wasn’t until he played the drug head named Gator in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever that Hollywood took attention. He was 43 years old. It was then that his acting career took off.
Vera Wang was an Olympic figure skater. After not making the Olympic team, she continued her love for fashions with her very own brand Vera Wang at the age of 40. Some of the most beautiful wedding dresses in the world are designed by her. While she started with wedding dresses, she is a world-renowned designer with so much more!
And our beloved Colonel Sanders realized that he could hardly live on his social security check. He franchised his first Kentucky Fried Chicken at the age of 62 years old. I can smell that delicious chicken right now! It’s definitely ‘finger licking’ good!
