Are you like me, when you look at this picture, you think of your children and/or relatives and the fun you see them have day in or day out? Or maybe you may even reflect back when you were a kid and maybe some fond memories you had. While I know that not everyone had a healthy, nurturing childhood, I hope and pray that there was at least one experience that sticks out in your mind that makes you smile.
Kids are so innocent and precious! I love to still learn so much from them just by being around them. I love learning what they are thinking. I can see that many times by the questions they ask. It really lets you know that they are really thinking. They are really trying to figure things out while having fun, fun, fun!
I love looking at the world through child-like eyes. Everything is exciting and something to explore. Small kids don’t usually have biases, yet either. The find the good. They find fun in the mundane. Simple pleasures!
While we are adults and have many responsibilities, I challenge you today to try to find something to admire and smile about. Find something that gives you simple pleasures. In the midst of the hustle and bustle, what will it be? The other day for me, it was ordering a strawberry shake and enjoying it like I never had one before. Simple pleasures! I love strawberry shakes and I love simple pleasures! Fun! Fun! Fun!
