So you set a goal for yourself. Let’s say, the one most of us have done in our lives – the goal to lose weight.  Then you eat that delicious red velvet cake that wasn’t on your diet.  What have you done in past?  Did you eat whatever for the rest of the day, week, month and maybe even year?  Did you throw in the towel?  Why do we, in our mind and our actions say, “just forget it?”  Why do we just give up on our goal(s) like that so easily?

Years ago I noticed this pattern with myself regarding certain goals.  Somewhere along the line, I made a slogan for myself:  “New Beginnings!”  I reminded myself that a ‘new beginning’ doesn’t have to wait a day, a month or a year or even an hour.  I can start again the very next second after eating the cake.  Why not?  Give myself some grace, for goodness sake!  Forgive yourself and start again.  How ’bout that?

Challenge yourself today to embrace as many new beginnings as you need to have in your life.  See how quickly you can adjust and begin again. I challenge you!  If you are open to sharing – TYPE IN YOUR COMMENT BELOW and let us know a new beginning you celebrated  and how quickly you began again!

Every second is a NEW BEGINNING!
