We’ve all been there. . . rock bottom. At different times in our lives, we just hit our lowest low. We know we’ve hit it, because we are not as resilient about shaking it off and moving on as we have in the past. This time, we feel stuck, defeated and in some instances a failure. Sometimes it’s one thing in our lives. While other times it is several things that have us feeling like the wind got knocked literally – out of our sail.
Rock bottom is not fun. That’s for sure! However, once we get over that you’ve hit it, now it’s time to examine how you got there. What are some things you can adjust in the future? What lessons are you learning from such a heart-breaking experience? No longer smooth sailing. It’s character building time now. Times like these, I like to challenge myself. I will say to myself, “Who ya’ gonna be or become because of this?”
Rock bottom is not my favorite place to land. But the one thing I LOVE about hitting rock bottom, is that the only way is UP!
