The Greatest Loss

“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.” – Norman Cousins

I read this quote and thought, I hurt too badly to even try to agree with that! As some of you know, I lost my Dad, my 17 year old dog and my Momzi over a 4 year period. I was numb, hurt and still grieving from each loss. It was my lowest rock bottom yet! For Momzi, her cancer had been in remission for 3 years. But it returned with a vengeance! I loved pampering her as I did before by get her 3 heated blankets to cuddle up in, give her soothing music to listen to and be there at her every beckon call. This time, I was not able to do this for her. I lost her not even 2 months after the cancer returned. I felt like I was dying myself. If I am honest, I was dying.

Have you ever experienced loss, also? It is my prayer that you haven’t, but if you have lived, you have loss. Have you ever had something happen in your life where you realized that you were stuck? Stuck is stuck, no matter how you arrived there.
While the hardest thing in my life was losing my loved ones, I now agree that the greatest loss is to live a life where your goals, dreams and aspirations die inside of you.

Let’s talk! Click the link below to schedule a time to chat. Imagine living a life where the ‘music ‘ that lives inside of you is shared with the world. Ultimately, the greatest loss is what dies inside of you while you live!

Life Love Loss

Never in Vain

I've got one life to live.  I live it to the fullest.  Different decisions I have made.  Different choices I have chosen.  Each thing I have loved through, hurt through and journeyed through.  Has helped me be who I am today.  I have never been one for regrets, and  I...

Turbulence

Smooth sailing - there's no such thing.  And if for only a minute I am reminded that a bump in the road is not a flat tire - just a jar, just a tug - Everything has meaning, even when I have no idea what it means, you know?  Seeking Him first gives me peace, relying...

Holy ‘Nother Level

Enough studies have been made and testimonials given that one has to finally pay attention.  Pay attention to something all of us have.  We were given this at birth.  Just like many things given to us for free, we don't value it.  However, this thing is more precious...

Me, Myself & I

Am I the only one who has a feeling deep within your soul that there is so much more than meets the eye?  Who do you see when you look in the mirror?  Do you only see you in your earth suit?  I remember feeling this early in my life.  At this point in my life, I am...
